The Challenge
Data
plays a crucial role in today’s society, and over 80% of it has a
location connection. While there is a huge amount of public data
available, data rendering and display is still a challenge. Large data
sets typically require time and expertise to process and interpret,
making it nearly impossible for the majority of people to make sense of
it.
HERE
has developed a service to help overcome this challenge. With HERE XYZ
you can easily visualize your geospatial data on a map and make sense of
it by using images, color codes, and shapes. Simply upload your own or a
public geospatial dataset and start designing your map!
Your
challenge is to describe briefly what information you would like to
visualize on your future map that could be beneficial for you, your
community, the environment or our society at large. Once you are
selected, you’ll be guided by mentors to generate map(s) using XYZ
Studio.
The winning projects will receive up to $10,000 US in cash prizes!
