Job Description
Coca-Cola Beverages Africa is the largest African Coca-Cola bottler, accounting for 40% of all Coca-Cola volumes on the continent. CCBA is a market leader in the NARTD (non-alcoholic ready to drink market) in Africa. CCBA has an extensive footprint in Africa, employing over 13 000 employees. CCBSA will sell >630m UC with Revenue of >R27bn, comprising >60% of CCBA profitability. CCBSA will employ 7500 employees.  

The primary purpose of the FC: Manufacturing & Technical - Region:
• Day to day execution and management of the regional Manufacturing & Technical finance function
• Review and analyse monthly financial statements, provide commentary and produce reporting packs
• Ensure accurate financial reports and variances within provided deadlines
• Partner with and develop line managers’ financial acumen and provide support to deliver on operational opportunities and projects
• Implement a strong governance and control framework within the Regional Manufacturing & Technical team.  

Key Duties & Responsibilities 
• Support the delivery of CCBSA Regional Manufacturing & Technical financial objectives:
o Deliver with the FM: FP&A team the 3 year plan, budget and forecasting process to ensure delivery of the CCBSA objectives.
o Review and track the Manufacturing & Technical Region’s Plan through budget and forecasts, monthly and year-end tracking and commentary on variances
o Review and analyse the P&L for the Manufacturing & Technical region and specialised functions to identify opportunities and risks.
o Review and analyse month end reporting pack
o Review and analyse weekly operational score cards as needed
o Manage financial month end close process for the region and report weekly and monthly to CCBSA HQ, FM: Operations.
o Review and sign off on appropriate statutory submissions including month end, hard close, year-end submissions
o Integration: During integration perform the regional consolidation of financial performance role

• Build strong, collaborative and effective work relationships with CCBSA Manufacturing & Technical managers to influence decision making and ensure implementation that delivers results.
• Generate integrated analytical insights:
o Make use of analytical methodology, trending and KPI’s as tools to generate insights
o Generate analytical insights and identify opportunities for operational improvements
o Partner with managers to execute against identified cost saving initiatives
o Integration: Strong focus on partnering with regional management for the delivery of Value Capture initiatives
• Support and implement the Manufacturing & Technical governance and control framework
o Support the Governance Controller with various governance matters (including Sarbox, internal and external audit etc.)
o Work with line managers to implement the necessary corrective financial action on variances, issues, or opportunities identified
o Implement regional and management routines that drive clear accountability and corrective actions in the region (i.e. Regional audit committees).
o Monitor and ensure the PTP process management & compliance
o Attendance of stock counts and ensure compliance to hard close procedures
• Identify and train Manufacturing & Technical operational managers on financial acumen, governance and policy changes  

Skills, Experience & Education Qualifications:
• BCom Honours or equivalent
• CA(SA) / CIMA / CTA an advantage
