The G Band Marketing Manager role is based within Enterprise Business Unit
The role of the Marketing Manager is to manage a team that is responsible for the planning and execution of EBU Product Marketing activities across various communication channels, brand development and products and services.

Key accountabilities and decision ownership:

  • Skills to effectively deliver the right message, to the right segment, at the right time, and evaluate the most relevant ways of communicating both now and in the future.
  • Build long term customer relationship and ROI. Skill to consistently apply Vodacom/ Vodafone Brand Framework, Purpose and pillars within all marketing activities and embedding them across the business.
  • Aligns multiple marketing activities to reinforce consistent Brand communications.
  • Skill and creativity that is applied to developing insightful and consistent marketing content to build Vodacom/ Vodafone brand equity, share, NPS etc
  • Skill to effectively and consistently use digital technology within customer touchpoints to improve the Vodafone experience. Fully integrate digital into campaign strategy. Develop and execute budget plans based on a positive ROI and in line with sales objectives.

The level of skill to manage, maintain and improve effective relationships with partners and suppliers. Challenges partners or suppliers to move beyond the usual and think outside the box. Actively manage all 3rd party outsource relationships as per SLAs and as per the policies and procedures stipulated by procurement.

Key performance indicators:
  • Market Share growth Focusing marketing activities on low performing area’s and winback share in areas of decline.
  • Revenue growth 5% Ensuring that they focus on products in their campaigns which provide high revenue
  • Data Revenue Ensuring that they focus on products in all activations which drive high data revenue
  • Management of Publicity
  • Positive leadership in NPS, Consideration, BMS, CHT.
  • Decrease TNPS detractors develop activations which improve staff morale as well as consumer activities to address this issue.
  • Grow customer base +5%

Data Driven marketing strategies

Budget owned:
Responsible for Marketing Budget spend in accordance with Segment/product/event allocation
Demonstrate and track RIO for all investments

The base location for this role is Midrand, Commercial Park
